· Supervise QC Technician and cover raw material/product testing.

Shrewsbury - Permanent - £14.00 - £17.00 per hr (DOE)
We are recruiting on behalf of a small but established precision engineering company based on the outskirts of Shrewsbury for a new TIG welder / Fabricator. This permanent position will suit an experienced, precision welder / fabricator who comes with a stable work history.
Depending on experience, the hourly rate will be £14.00 - £17.00 per hour.
Working as part of a small team, you’ll predominantly be working with Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Inconel.
To be considered for this role you MUST be an experienced TIG welder (used to working to tight tolerances and various gauges) as well as be able to work independently from engineering drawings. Experience of working within a scientific or semi-conductor sector would also be advantageous.

Managing a small team of workshop staff, duties will include (but not be limited to):

· Day to day workshop management
· Manage vehicle and equipment maintenance including PPM scheduling, test and pre-use checks as well as reactive repair
